The Laboratory of Applied Mathematics and Modeling "LMAM" is relatively recent because it was created in 2010 and started its activities in 2011. It is located on the central campus of the University “8 Mai 1945” Guelma, (New Research Block). The "LMAM" laboratory is composed of 4 teams of 37 researchers.
Search Themes:
We are interested in the investigation of physical phenomena using models based on nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). We study these questions from the point of view of modeling, numerical simulations and mathematical analysis. Our main themes are:
• Numerical approximations
• Stochastic Models and Probabilities
• Modeling of the atmosphere and environmental problems
• The modeling of continuum mechanics
